CURFEW
As of June 6, Miami-Dade County curfew is in effect from 9:00 pm until
6:00 am, until rescinded. [I regret not seeing this announcement before I published No. 30. Please accept my apologies.]
SENIOR MEALS
Miami-Dade County's Emergency Meals Service (CEMS) for seniors discontinued enrollment on June 6, 2020. The CEMS program will conclude on July 15th. The Community Action and Human Services Department will continue to assist seniors who qualify for Meals on Wheels, SNAP and other state and federal programs.
PUBLIC LIBRARIES
The Miami-Dade Public Library System (MDPLS) will reopen to the public on an expanded schedule beginning Monday, June 8, 2020. The expanded schedule is available at www.mdpls.org
